Joy's Story

Hi, my name is Joy (like happy happy Joy Joy!) I’m a photographer and digital retoucher, the newest member of the Sydney studio.

 

After picking up a camera for the first time in year 11 of high school, I quickly became aware that I had a natural flair for photography (unlike Maths and Science!).  After a year overseas living in America and travelling through Europe, I came home and completed a Visual Arts and Design Degree.

 

My passion is creating images that move people and I have not been able to put a camera down since. I have over 5 years experience in the wedding and portrait industry and I love photographing kids for their carefree nature and enthusiasm for life.  

 

While I’m not behind the camera you will find me in a ballet studio or soaking up the sun at the beach.  I’m a crazy football head and support the Manly Sea Eagles (but please don’t hold this against me). I should also mention I am a chocoholic. I look forward to creating new and wonderful memories in our new studio.
