Have you ever wondered what living in extreme poverty must be like? Wondering how to feed your family?
The internationally recognised Extreme Poverty Line is US $1.25 a day, this equates to $2 in Australia.
There are 1.4 billion people in the world living below this line.
The Global Poverty Project and The Oaktree Foundation have put out a challenge: to Live Below the Line!
Kat from our Hawthorn studio in Melbourne has decided to put her money where her mouth is and take on the challenge.
From the 2nd to the 7th of August both Kat and her cousin Bianca will be feeding themselves on $2 a day to try and raise funds to assist the Oaktree Foundation in opening schools in remote Cambodia. A country that in the past has been plagued by war and famine.
